Public Safety officers and police arrested a 39-year-old man on Saturday evening (November 16) in the CBD.

During the arrest, the officers found small packets of a substance believed to be crystal meth.

The man was charged with possession of illegal drugs and has since made his first appearance in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court.

This arrest demonstrates the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat illicit drug activity in the area.
